MANY Design Studio, led by Andrew Shea, merges communication and service design to create systems, experiences, and spaces that center equity, sustainability, and collaboration. The studio’s name reflects the diversity of its work: MANY collaborations, MANY partners, MANY mediums, MANY outputs, MANY impacts, MANY design. It responds strategically to the needs of each project, working closely with partners to elevate progressive initiatives and support creative communities.
Design as a Social Practice
MANY Design Studio approaches design as a tool for systems change, centering equity, environmental responsibility, and civic engagement. Each project is grounded in deep listening, collaborative strategy, and a commitment to meaningful impact.
Working across disciplines and with mission-driven organizations, the studio creates design interventions that respond to community needs and advance social justice. The work is rooted in the craft of communication and service design and is carried out through close collaborations with people like you. We provide strategic approaches to the design of exhibitions, brand identities, digital platforms, environmental graphics, workshop experiences, awareness campaigns, printed materials, and other artifacts. Designing not just for change, but with it.
