Parsons Strategic Research is a platform that highlights how faculty, students and the community at Parsons School of Design Strategies generate knowledge through creative practice, critical inquiry, and collaborative engagement.

We believe that design is more than a tool-it's a method of asking, intervening, and imagining otherwise. Across disciplines and domains, our faculty-led labs and projects operate in real-world contexts, working with communities, environments, technologies, and institutions to challenge traditional academic models and produce grounded, transformative insights.

Rather than separating theory from action, we see them as co-constructive, making is thinking, and practice is inquiry. From urban storytelling to AI ethics, care design to ecological justice, our work aims to create new modes of understanding-and new ways of being in the world.
